“This print shows the same scene twice, but viewed from different points of view. The upper half shows that view for a spectator who is at a height of approximately three floors; the lower half shows the scene that he observes from the ground floor. If he looks upwards from there, he sees the tiled floor on which he is standing, repeated as a ceiling in the center of the composition.
